Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Operator to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant establishment. The Restaurant Operator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all restaurant activities, including customer service, staff management, inventory control, and financial management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences

Responsibilities

Keep an eye on the restaurant's daily operations and make sure that business regulations and standards are followed.

Oversee and manage the hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews of restaurant employees.

Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times by responding quickly and efficiently to questions, concerns, and comments from clients.

Create and implement operational processes, such as those for food preparation, serving, and cleanliness, to maximize production and efficiency.

Keep an eye on and manage inventory levels, placing orders for materials and supplies as needed to fulfill demand while reducing waste and keeping prices under control.

Work together with the kitchen team to create and modify menus so that there is always a wide variety of delicious foods that satisfy dietary restrictions and client preferences.

Use marketing and promotional techniques, like as loyalty programs, special events, and discounts, to draw in new clients and hold onto current ones.

Track financial performance by examining sales information, costs, and profitability to pinpoint problem areas and create remedial solutions.

Maintain adherence to health and safety laws, guidelines, and standards by performing routine inspections and quickly resolving any problems or concerns.

 

Encourage a collaborative and welcoming work atmosphere that boosts staff morale, professional growth, and teamwork.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience in the hotel sector or restaurant management, with at least five years in a comparable position.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and encourage employees to provide outstanding service.

Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to engage with clients, staff, and suppliers in an efficient manner.

Strong knowledge of food preparation, service expectations, and health and safety laws in relation to restaurant operations.

Competence in financial analysis, cost control, and inventory management.

Ability to perform well under time constraints in a high-volume, high-quality work environment while paying close attention to detail.

The ability to work on the weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

A bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
