Supervising housekeeping employees is the responsibility of the housekeeping supervisor.
Keeping supplies in stock.
Placing a cleaning supply order.
Overseeing housekeeping staff.
Making sure that changes are noted.
Onboarding new hires and implementing remedial measures as required.
Obtains an occupancy list in order to identify which rooms require immediate cleaning, as well as a list of potential check-outs or discharges in order to assign labor.
Attends meetings and communicates with cleaning staff to address departmental concerns.
Maintains records of employee work assignments and creates recurring reports.
Assigning employees to clean-up duties and monitoring their work to make sure the established standards are being maintained.
Looking into and resolving complaints about subpar housekeeping services.
Carrying out different cleaning tasks when manpower is short.
Inspecting the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas, such as the stairwells and the lounge areas.
Inspects all guest rooms, common areas, parking lots, terrace bars, gyms, and places with pools and dustbins on a regular basis.
The supervisor's overall responsibilities include managing the mutually beneficial connection between staff and management, identifying development requirements, supervising employee performance, communicating organizational needs, and fostering productivity.
Minimum of Degree in Hospitality Management or its equivalent
Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in similar field
