Overview
An established health insurance company is looking for a highly driven and meticulous Account Clerk to become a part of our vibrant team.
Managing all money collections for health insurance from travelers who could need quick coverage upon arrival at the airport is a crucial responsibility of this function. The chosen applicant will work in three shifts to provide our clients with round-the-clock availability and coverage.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage all on-site insurance collections, guaranteeing prompt and correct payment processing for tourists in need of emergency insurance.
- Collaborating closely with internal departments and airport authorities to enable clients' payments to be processed quickly and easily while making sure that all transactions abide by rules and guidelines.
- Assist travelers with questions about insurance coverage, payment alternatives, and policy details while providing outstanding customer service.
- To ensure adherence to corporate guidelines and legal obligations, keep complete and accurate records of each payment transaction.
- Collaborate closely with the financial and customer care departments to swiftly address any problems pertaining to payments or coverage.
- Create and submit reports on a regular basis that include information on collection operations, issues faced, and suggestions for enhancing the service delivery procedure.
- Take part in a rotating shift schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and night hours to guarantee ongoing client assistance and coverage.
- Participate in additional tasks and initiatives that your supervisor may occasionally assign you to help the business and client satisfaction as a whole.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a similar discipline.
- A minimum of one year's experience in clerical work, collections, etc.
- A thorough understanding of payment processing systems and financial transactions.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, including the capacity to interact productively with a wide variety of clients.
- Excellent multitasking and organizing skills, along with a sharp eye for detail.
- Possessing a strong sense of honesty and professionalism while working both individually and collaboratively.
- The ability to work any required number of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- A dedication to upholding the highest ethical standards and acting honorably.
- Understanding cultural differences in order to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds.
- Outstanding English language ability and communication skills
