Overview

Ensuring that news content complies with editorial standards, internal style guides, and platform (Facebook, Google, etc.) policies is processed and published on time. Confirming the veracity and correctness of every news report prior to publication. Copy should be revised and edited to make it readable and appealing to tar.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that news content complies with editorial standards, internal style guides, and platform (Facebook, Google, etc.) policies is processed and published on time.
• Confirming the veracity and correctness of every news report prior to publication.
• To make copy legible and appealing to the intended audience, rewrite and modify it.
• Creating original, plagiarism-free material.
• Make sure articles contain attention-grabbing titles, relevant images, and other visual components.

Requirements

• A university degree in a related discipline, such as media studies or journalism.
• Two to three years of experience reporting on entertainment or in a related field.
• Flawless fluency in English (you'll need to pass a few exams to demonstrate this).
• Knowledge of celebrity news and entertainment both locally and internationally.
• Experience working in social media and digital fields.
