Internal Auditor

Overview

As an internal auditor, it will be your duty to assess and enhance our organization's governance, risk management, and control procedures. In this position, you will carry out audits, offer suggestions for enhancements, and guarantee adherence to internal policies and external legal mandates.

Responsibilities

• To evaluate the efficacy and efficiency of financial operations, internal controls, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, plan and carry out internal audits. • Determine the organization's risk areas and offer workable methods to reduce them. • Create and provide reports to management that include audit findings and suggestions. • To guarantee compliance and efficacy, keep an eye on how the suggested modifications are being implemented. • Keep abreast of regulatory developments and trends in the industry to make sure operations continue to be compliant. • Look into risks that have been identified or reported on an as-needed basis. • Communicate as needed with regulatory agencies and outside auditors. • Encourage an organization-wide culture of responsibility and integrity. • Be a proud representative of the brand.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline. • Having a professional qualification is quite desirable. • Three years or more of experience in internal auditing, ideally in the technology or financial services industries. • Strong knowledge of risk management procedures, regulatory compliance, and auditing standards. • Outstanding analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in writing and spoken communication, possessing the capacity to effectively and convincingly convey research results. • Strong computer literacy, especially when using spreadsheets. • It is preferred to have knowledge of Google Sheets and Xero. • Knowledgeable about technology and content working remotely. • Capacity to function both alone and collaboratively in a hectic setting. • Shown honesty and a dedication to moral principles. • Keen awareness of details.
