This position's holder is in charge of overseeing facility operations, making sure clients are happy, supervising staff schedules and performance, and trying to maintain the salon's profitability. The ultimate goal is to assume full accountability for meeting and surpassing the expectations of the visitors while adhering to spa’s vision, core values, and all associated brand standards, processes, and regulations.
• Ensure that every guest has an exceptional experience with the utmost comfort and service by establishing a real, inviting, inspiring, and secure salon atmosphere. • Provide each visitor at the Spa and Salon with individualized, personalized service. • Provide hair care services such as coloring, blow drying, trimming, style, permanent waving, and conditioning treatments. • To pay attention, confer with visitors and members in order to meet their needs and accomplish their objectives. • To guarantee that clients have a flawless experience, collaborate and communicate with the complete spa staff, which includes attendants, stylists, therapists, and spa concierges. • Give the spa director and assistant spa manager your whole support. • To always serve as a model of professionalism, demeanor, and appearance for the other members of the spa team. • Have extensive understanding of all spa and salon procedures, services, and treatments, including barber services. • Recognize and follow all policies and standard operating procedures. • To guarantee that the entire facility is kept in immaculate condition at all times. • Help with administrative tasks like receiving, purchasing, and reporting inventory. • Should always act with professionalism, especially in terms of appearance, overall demeanor, and punctuality. • Make sure every employee is up to date on salon fashion trends. • Encourage members and hotel visitors to use beautification services. • Keep your staff's and the establishment's professional licenses up to date. • To support the Spa Director in hiring, onboarding, disciplining, developing, and evaluating all Salon employees as needed. • To participate in a monthly meeting when all spa employees gather to discuss needs and goals and to stay inspired. • To guarantee that the hotel's and spa's departments all have a good working relationship with the operations department. • Accountable for all facets of staff operations, including recruiting, recognizing, and implementing progressive corrective action. • Accountable for ensuring that all salon staff members receive effective training in all facets of their jobs. • To guarantee that staff members fully comprehend and abide by the hotel's safety policy. • In charge of making sure every spa department has received the necessary training in emergency protocols and is knowledgeable about salon operations (cross-training). • To promptly conduct performance reviews for the salon department. • In charge of the salon's P&L and expenses, prepare and submit monthly budget reports.
• Relevant certificates in hairdressing. • Accredited sales training is beneficial. • Prior experience at a spa preferred • Five years of experience managing a salon according to international standards. • Both a team player and a leader. • Very skilled and experienced hairstylist. • Businesslike demeanor. • Supervisory abilities at a salon. • Skills for salon training. • Capacity to create and deliver regular reports and budgets • Able to work variable hours, including weekends and evenings.
