Production Assistant/ Social media manager

Overview

In your role as Production Assistant, you will be in charge of the Instagram and TikTok accounts, posting material and responding to messages and questions. Along with contributing content ideas, you will also carry out other production activities that are delegated to you. An extra benefit is having the ability to write strong scripts, perform voiceovers, and talk in front of the camera. You may occasionally have to work during strange hours and travel in your role as a production assistant.

Responsibilities

• As soon as materials are uploaded, take control of moderating and going through all comments to ensure that any queries are addressed. • Determine potential participants and arrange a meeting with them. • Be in charge of conducting interviews with potential participants for our media outlets. • Take responsibility for sorting through potential films and deciding which ones to put first based on time, trends, and—most importantly—goals. • Recognize which of your videos did well on the TikTok Channel and produce further material to draw in more viewers. • Establish the video's title, write the narrative, and include a call to action that is obvious to the audience. • Establish upload dates for videos, so that the editor can begin working on them on time. Additionally, provide feedback on edited videos, indicating whether any changes need be made. • Watch videos to determine the clip to use for your Tiktok Reels. • Anything else that might need to be done.

Requirements

• A degree from university in a relevant discipline. • Possess expertise running a social media network and be proficient with Canva and other comparable applications • Must be able to communicate clearly in front of the camera. • Time and project management abilities • The capacity to use software on a computer • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. • Strong written and spoken English language proficiency. • Speaking several languages is advantageous. • Considerable experience in a comparable position at work. • Capacity to work both under supervision and under pressure. • Willingness to work occasionally at irregular hours. • An intense love of agriculture.
