As an ecommerce supplier acquisition and marketing specialist, your job would involve identifying and partnering with new suppliers, developing marketing strategies, and driving customer acquisition for the ecommerce platform. It's an exciting role that combines business development and marketing expertise.
• Supplier Acquisition: • Find and investigate possible suppliers who fit the product offerings, quality requirements, and pricing policies of the e-commerce platform. • To build relationships, connect with possible suppliers via a variety of means, including phone conversations, emails, and networking gatherings. • To get advantageous conditions for the e-commerce platform, negotiate the details of the deal, including pricing, product specifications, delivery dates, and payment terms. • Perform due diligence on prospective suppliers, evaluating their manufacturing capacity, dependability, and adherence to industry rules. • Supplier Relationship Management: • To assure continued cooperation and satisfaction, cultivate and maintain connections with current suppliers. • To preserve a good working relationship, respond quickly and efficiently to any problems or concerns brought up by suppliers. • Work together with suppliers to maximize product offerings, enhance quality, and launch new items or versions in response to consumer input and market trends. • Marketing and Sales: • Create and implement marketing strategies to advertise goods obtained from vendors on the online marketplace. • Produce captivating content for social media channels to boost brand awareness and enhance platform traffic. • Examine industry developments, rivalry, and consumer behavior to find areas where you can promote your product and increase sales. • Work together with the marketing team to create focused marketing strategies that will help you acquire, retain, and convert customers. • Performance Analysis and Reporting: • Key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns, product sales, and supplier acquisition should be tracked and analyzed. • Create dashboards and reports to monitor performance in relation to objectives, pinpoint areas in need of development, and make data-driven choices. • To support strategic decision-making, provide the management team regular updates and insights on supplier relationships, market trends, and sales performance.
