Hostess

Overview

Being the hostess means that you will be our guests' initial point of contact, making sure they have a great time and a warm welcome. Making ensuring visitors feel appreciated and at ease from the time they arrive until they depart is your main duty.

Responsibilities

• Greeting Customers: Extend a warm smile and extend a polite greeting to customers as they walk into the restaurant. • Seating of Guests: Show guests to their tables while making sure that all specific requests and preferences are met. • Managing Reservations: To maximize table turnover and guarantee prompt service, keep track of reservations and seating availability. • Helping Guests: Hand out menus, respond to inquiries concerning menu items, and make recommendations upon request. • Upkeep of Waiting room: Make sure clients are comfortable while they wait for their tables by keeping the waiting room tidy and well-organized. • Organizing with Servers: Maintain good communication with servers to provide seamless changes from seating to serving. • Taking Care of Guest Inquiries: Professionally handle any complaints or concerns raised by visitors, taking management notice of any serious problems as needed. • Promoting Events and Specials: To improve the eating experience for customers, let them know about forthcoming events, promotions, and daily specials. • Upselling: To boost revenue and improve overall customer satisfaction, get customers to sample more menu items or drinks. • Sustaining Professionalism: Always adhere to the restaurant's expectations for courtesy, appearance, and professionalism.

Requirements

• Preferably, prior experience working in customer service or hospitality roles. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. • Strong attention to detail and organizing skills. • The capacity to maintain composure in a hectic setting. • The ability to work on the weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
