Interior Designer

Overview

We are hiring an interior designer on-site for a full-time position at our Tema location. Making building drawings, designing interior spaces, and space planning will all fall within the purview of the interior designer. They will also have a hand in choosing and defining the equipment, fittings, and furniture.

Responsibilities

• Creating functional and aesthetically pleasing design concepts for spaces. • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget. • Developing detailed plans, including layout, color schemes, and materials. • Selecting and sourcing furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements. • Managing and coordinating contractors and suppliers. • Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. • Incorporating sustainable and eco-friendly design principles. • Creating 3D visualizations or renderings to help clients visualize the design. • Overseeing the installation and implementation of the design. • Providing ongoing support and maintenance for completed projects.

Requirements

• A track record of success in interior design or a related field. • Proficiency with design software, such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or related programs. • Strong understanding of goods, materials, and principles of interior design. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. • Capacity to operate both individually and together in a group setting. • Both a keen sense of inventiveness and attention to detail. • It is preferred to have a bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a similar discipline.
