A project manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the successful completion of a project. They work closely with stakeholders, team members, and resources to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the desired objectives. They create project plans, set goals, allocate resources, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle. They also manage risks, resolve issues, and communicate updates to all involved parties. A project manager plays a crucial role in coordinating and leading the team to achieve project success.
o Defining project goals, objectives, and scope. o Creating a detailed project plan, including timelines and milestones. o Allocating and managing project resources, such as budget, materials, and team members. o Monitoring project progress and ensuring tasks are completed on time. o Identifying and managing project risks and issues. o Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. o Conducting regular project status meetings and providing updates to stakeholders. o Managing changes to project scope and ensuring proper documentation. o Ensuring adherence to project quality standards. o Evaluating project outcomes and conducting post-project reviews for lessons learned.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Construction Industry • Fluency in French is an added advantage • Able to develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements • BSc in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field • Able to lead and motivate project teams, including contractors and sub-contractors. • Project management professional Certification is a plus • Willing to relocate abroad
