Prospecting for new business, evaluating loan clients, and managing and expanding their loan and deposit portfolio are all under the purview of the client relationship officer. Creating the target groups' savings and deposit portfolio is another duty of the post holder.
Business-Related Activities • Collaborate with fellow staff members and other professionals to plan outreach and communication initiatives within the designated intervention area, which includes marketplaces and commercial areas. • Present offerings to the intended audience. • Maintain constant contact with the identified potential clients in order to follow up on the leads. • Offer new goods and services to his or her existing customer base. • Determine the demands of your clients and suggest new goods or services to the management. • Urge customers to register for bank accounts and complete goals. • By creating a welcoming environment, meeting and thanking each customer, upholding exceptional standards, having a thorough understanding of the products, and attending to all other parts of customer service, you can make sure that every customer receives exceptional service. Loan-related Activities • Help the customers submit their loan applications. • Assess loans and gather comprehensive data (personal, business, and guaranties) in the field. • Deliver the loan proposal to the lending committee. • In the event that payment is delayed, plan recovery measures. • Arrange for visits to the field to stay in constant communication with your clients. • By spending the majority of your time in the field and developing a reliable rapport with small business owners, you may establish yourself as a respected and active participant in the intervention zone. Control and Organization • Make a weekly schedule that includes the visits and duties that are anticipated. • Inform staff members of knowledge and best practices. • Inform your immediate supervisor of all work-related concerns. • Utilize operational reports to analyze the customer portfolio.
• A bachelor's degree or higher national diploma, at the very least. • A minimum of one (1) year of job experience, including National Service. • Strong mathematical aptitude, expertise in evaluating markets, and familiarity with bookkeeping. • It is advantageous to have actual experience with small and micro firms and the market environment. • Ability to meet goals as established by the branch manager and operations department, both qualitative and quantitative. • Capacity to professionally and dynamically represent Advans Ghana within the branch. • The capacity to adhere to rules and regulations. • Capacity to maintain records in client files and use the MIS to handle information. • Strong communication abilities. • Strong initiative motivation. • The capacity to provide clients with information that is accurate, transparent, and clear. • Capacity to maintain records in client files and use the MIS to handle information. • Capacity to establish yourself as a major player in the intervention area. • The ability to modify language usage and talk in local languages to suit the needs of different types of clients.
