Overview

In order to continuously enhance operational effectiveness and the standard of living for families and clients under the property division, the position holder will apply practical technical problem-solving skills and a passion for repairs and maintenance. In addition to reporting construction activities and keeping databases pertaining to property maintenance records, he or she will help with property visits. Since the employee will be supervising other junior employees, it is imperative that they collaborate closely with both their immediate team members and external service providers (such as those that handle cleaning, landscaping, and specialized maintenance). To the Operations Manager, this position reports.

Responsibilities

• In charge of overseeing and maintaining all property upkeep and general repairs. • Suggests and oversees the qualified craftspeople assigned to any repairs, and gives management regular updates. • Organizes project meetings, short-term or temporary occupancies, special events like project dedication, and property visits and inspections. • Serves as a point of contact for organization Properties, on-site craftsmen, and outside construction or property management firms. • Keeps track of the required documentation and property files for the company's properties, such as title certificates, leases, deeds, and ownership files. • In charge of processing applications, running background checks, organizing a seamless resident move-in and lease signing, as well as giving property tours and inspections and exhibiting units to potential renters. • organizes frequent events, keeps an eye on competition in the real estate market, and participates in housing/rental marketing and event activities (such as visiting housing fairs) to promote the property. • Completes numerous administrative tasks and reports, along with other tasks as needed or given.

Requirements

• A strong foundation in general education, an NVTI or HND, and at least two years of experience closely relating to the listed tasks and responsibilities. • Experience may be replaced year-to-year with completed technical certificate(s) from an approved school that exceed the minimum educational level. • Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook among other Microsoft Office programs. • Competence with property management systems. That being said, there will be training. • General ability to perform little fixes. • The capacity to oversee several projects and carry out difficult duties. • Strong sense of confidentiality and integrity. • Aptitude for setting priorities and allocating resources. • Google Drive Suite (Slides, Sheets, and Documents).
