Partnership Operations Manager

Overview

Managing partnerships in the African nature and climate sector will be the primary responsibility of this position, with a focus on investors, nature-loving groups, and Nature Tech firms. The appointed individual will assume a crucial function in promoting cooperation, enabling effective functioning, and guaranteeing the smooth implementation of joint venture projects.

Responsibilities

• Form and preserve strategic alliances with investors, nature-loving groups, and Nature Tech enterprises throughout Africa. • Organize the partnership's continuing relationship management, contract negotiations, and onboarding. • Work together with internal teams to match partnership aims to corporate priorities and ambitions. • Keep an eye on partnership performance indicators and provide stakeholders frequent updates on your progress. • Determine areas where current relationships may develop and expand, as well as possible new areas for partnerships. • Act as the main point of contact for operational assistance, escalations, and partner queries. • To find trends, opportunities, and competitive insights in the nature and climate industry, do market research and analysis. • Assist with the creation of presentations, collateral, and marketing materials for partnerships as needed.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in environmental science, business administration, or a similar discipline is required. • A track record of success in operations, business growth, or relationship management, ideally in the environment and climate industry. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to successfully engage and sway stakeholders at all levels. • Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and capacity to handle several deadlines and priorities. • English language proficiency is necessary; fluency in French, German, or other languages is preferred. • Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working both independently and cooperatively in a distant environment.
