Maintenance Dispatcher

Overview

In order to monitor and coordinate heavy mining equipment (HME) maintenance/engineering systems, processes, and resources to enhance output efficiency for high equipment availability and performance, increased productivity, equipment reliability, and operational profitability, the successful applicant will apply acknowledgement and experience to capture maintenance and repair data within prescribed guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Managing all of the civil fleet used by the mine maintenance unit, including dozers, grades, water carts, and other ancillary equipment. • Coordinating with the civil fleet employees to exchange information on RAC incidents, such as the event's location, in order to expeditiously fix the poor road conditions that gave rise to these incidents. • Help with the routine coaching, training, and development of the section's employees on pertinent best-fit techniques based on experience, knowledge, or competence. • Keeping an eye on every piece of auxiliary equipment equipped with dispatch equipment to guarantee optimal functioning. • Communicating with HME and MARCs and informing the appropriate portions of incoming events in real time. • Accountable for consistently informing supervisors of any harmful behavior or circumstance, as well as for carrying out any additional relevant operational tasks after proper training.

Requirements

• Minimum of a National Vocational Training Certificate, or a credential similar from an accredited school. • Three (3) years minimum of experience doing auto electrical repair on Caterpillar machinery. • Proficient in risk management on a technical level. • Must possess strong engineering expertise. • Needs to be well-versed in automotive electronics. • Develop your capacity to communicate effectively and engage with others from different backgrounds and cultures. • Having a driver's license that is currently valid and having the ability and willingness to get a site driver permit
