Overview

As a Legal Compliance Executive, your main responsibility is to ensure that a company operates in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You'll develop and implement compliance programs, conduct audits, and provide guidance on legal matters. It's an important role in maintaining the integrity and ethical standards of the organization.

Responsibilities

• In charge of giving legal counsel on regulatory compliance to the business and all of its clients. • To represent designated company secretarial clients as company secretary • Drafting and reviewing leases, commercial agreements, partnerships/collaborative agreements at the company, assignments, condominium agreements, MOUs, and contracts • Might be asked to represent the business in any legal-related discussions. • Manage labor-related matters and act as a client's advocate before the labor commission. • In charge of performing company secretarial services for customers in compliance with Act 992, Section 212 of the Companies Act, 2019. • Handling of inquiries and helping to process requests from clients. • Creates service quotes, proposals, and a monthly activity report that includes new business prospects. • Creating legal and compliance-related publications, as well as hosting webinars and podcasts. • Attends instructional programs and reads scholarly publications to keep up professional and technical expertise. • Ensures accurate record keeping by appropriately documenting and filing customer data. • Preserves client trust and safeguards operations by maintaining the privacy of client information • Reach your goals and complete the tasks that have been allocated to you. • Additional relevant legal advice services that the business or its clients could require. • Managing legal concerns pertaining to corporations and commerce.

Requirements

• LLB, LL.M., or any comparable degree Four years of post-call experience in Ghana coupled with a professional certification in a relevant discipline. • Shown expertise in business or legal regulatory compliance • A track record of success in labor affairs • Competence in business and commercial disputes • Comprehensive understanding of company secretarial procedures • Sufficient expertise and experience in a matter of minutes • Capacity to multitask and perform well under duress • Precision and meticulousness in details • Result-driven and well-organized • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities • Outstanding abilities in providing client service • Proficiency with computers (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
