The Business Development Manager will be in charge of boosting revenue and sales through the identification and pursuit of new business prospects, the development and maintenance of client relationships, and tight collaboration with cross-functional teams to create winning plans. In addition, doing competition analyses, conducting market research, and giving prospective customers product demos are all under the purview of the business development manager.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and analyze competitors. • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals. • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business leads, and build relationships with potential clients. • Partnership Development: Develop and maintain partnerships with other companies, organizations, or individuals. • Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop marketing campaigns and sales strategies. • Product Development: Work with product development teams to identify new product opportunities and develop product strategies. • Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to increase revenue and develop strategies to achieve revenue growth. • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to identify new business opportunities. • Proposal Development: Develop proposals and pitches to win new business contracts. • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze performance metrics to measure business development success and identify areas for improvement.
• Proven background in sales, business development, or a similar position; excellent communication and negotiating abilities; capacity to establish and manage relationships with clients; knowledge of the market and competitors; • Capacity to function both individually and together Strong time-management and organizing abilities • Understanding of risk reduction and compliance with regulations • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a similar discipline
