Overview

A rapidly expanding complete trading and exporting company is seeking a new sales team member to lead its line of healthy snack products. In addition to developing and carrying out strategic sales plans for significant food merchants in Accra, the Sales & Distribution Manager will be in charge of hiring, developing, and supervising a group of traffic-light street vendors. Experience selling FMCG, especially in the food and snack market, is a must for the perfect applicant.

Responsibilities

• Create a thorough plan to build and preserve strong business ties in order to have our items sold in all of Accra's small, medium, and large grocery stores. • Assemble, educate, and oversee a group of pedestrian street vendors to ensure they fulfill daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals. • Figuring out how to meet the goals you and your team have set for development and sales. • Effectively lead a group and mentor new hires. • Put into action sales strategies that will increase the company's clientele. • Create enduring bonds with by forming partnerships. • Reach your promotional revenue goals by using the right pricing strategy to maximize profits for each drive period, selling event, and method. • Collaborate across functional lines to efficiently oversee the fulfillment of all designated sales goals. • Reach your yearly and quarterly sales objectives. • Maintain financial constraints in order to increase sales and reach profitability targets. • Monitor sales performance in relation to goals and report findings to management.

Requirements

• Need to be in good physical condition with Age range: 25–36 • Three to five years of total job experience in marketing, sales, distribution, or similar positions. • Two years minimum of experience in sales strategy, planning, field sales, or sales category management. • Direct experience working in field sales for at least three to five years, preferably in the packaged food and snack market, with a top-to-top buyer partnership. • A track record of increasing both the top and bottom lines in the snack and packaged goods sector. • Have to be open to working in a startup atmosphere. • Action-oriented and possessing a positive, can-do attitude that motivates others to have a winning mindset. • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and prepared to start small and work one's way up. • Outstanding aptitude for organizing. • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and a track record of creating powerful sales presentations and data analysis using PowerPoint. • Thorough comprehension of risk reduction, cross-channel interaction, and pricing models. • Strong and proven training and skills in bargaining.
